The Mitten

with 2 comments

We have been reading “The Mitten” by Jan Brett on repeat for the last week or so. If I am not currently reading it, Darren is off in a corner somewhere, cuddled up with his beloved story mouthing the words to himself. He even insisted that we bring it along with us to the farmer’s market yesterday.

It’s a great story. ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. …I think I had that book as a kid. I’m having fond, yet irritatingly vague memories.

And, hooray for bringing books about! I’m ever hopeful that the kids will eventually realize that books can go places too, and can be enjoyed in the car just as well as in bed.

    • I love Jan Brett. Her “Gingerbread Baby” is adorable. I intend to read it every Christmas for the rest of my life. ๐Ÿ™‚
